Phlebotomy Work Experience Entry Requirements
To participate in our Phlebotomy Work Experience Programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Qualified Phlebotomist: Phlebotomy Course (Stage 1 and Stage 2) from our institute. We do not accept phlebotomists trained by other companies. Please contact us if you have been trained by other companies and wish to join our Phlebotomy Work Experience programme.
- Professional Indemnity Insurance: Included in both packages we offer. It is covered by the NHS clinics where you will practice.
- DBS Check: A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is required to ensure compliance with NHS regulations. You can apply for the DBS online at; https://www.gov.uk/request-copy-criminal-record
